I’m Jane and I started this blog to publish tidbits of research on the Conner family of North Carolina. My hope is that others will read the tidbits and match it with one of their tidbits to complete the puzzle of the Conner Family. For over 20 years I have researched the Conner Family. My Conner roots stalemated in the North Carolina Mountain counties of McDowell, Polk and Rutherford. Check out the Conner tab above to learn more. The most recent discovered revelation is that there is…well find out for yourself under the Conner Tab! Where did they first migrate from into the North Carolina territory? Which dock did they first step onto when immigrating to the Americas? Is there a Conner Family Bible for the Conner Family of Rutherford, Lincoln and McDowell Counties of North Carolina? Who else is researching the Conner Family? I have found Conners in Indiana, Missouri and Texas….Are they connected? How? So many questions with so few answers! Then there are the other parts to my blog: Second, the Gouge family is my husband’s family. They have their roots in Mitchell County and have a very rich history. The Gouge’s are connected to the Webb Family, Aiken Family and McCanless Family. Thirdly, I love to write and every-once-in-a-while I like to believe that God blessed me with a tiny insight that I enjoy sharing under the Snippets of Life tab.
